Top 10 Sequels I Can't Wait To Get My Hands On

Top Ten Sequels I Can't Wait To Get My Hands On
(Feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish)

Welcome to my fall reading project...catching up on series.  This is much more difficult than I had anticipated for a number of reasons.  1) There is some rereading involved.  There's soooo not time for rereading.  2) The books are hard to get a hold of.  Apparently EVERYONE in my community wants to read them too :) 3) I'm easily distracted by the fall TV programming schedule.  It's a problem.

But here are a few (new and old) series sequels that I can't wait to get my hands on:

1) Ravenflight by Juliet Marillier
Sequel to Shadowfell

2) Hero by Alethea Kontis
Sequel to Enchanted

3) A Stranger Thing by Martin Leicht
Sequel to Mothership

4) Game by Barry Lyga
Sequel to I Hunt Killers

5) Just One Year by Gayle Forman
Sequel to Just One Day

6) Unhinged  by A.G. Howard
Sequel to Splintered

7) Across a Star-Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund
Sequel to For Darkness Shows the Stars

8) Uncommon Criminals by Ally Carter
Sequel to Heist Society

9) The One by Kiera Cass
Sequel to The Selection, The Elite

10) Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger
Sequel to Etiquette &Espionage

and a couple more...just because!

11) Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
Seqel to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

12) Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
Sequel to The Diviners

13) Isla and the Boy Next Door by Stephane Perkins
Sequel to Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door

What's on your list?  Happy reading!

  1. I didn't know there was a sequel to I Hunt Killers!! yippeeee!! :)

I am on hold at the library waiting on Allegiant. I am looking forward to reading it since I like this trilogy better than The Hunger Games. And I realize I'm probably the only one in the world, but I'm ok with that.

    1. I haven't even read Insurgent, so you've got me beat! I enjoyed The Hunger Games...but by Mockingjay I had had enough of Katniss ;) So whiny!! Did you finish I Hunt Killers???

    2. yes! I think that may be one reason why I like Beatrice. She is non-whiny.

I did finish I Hunt Killers and loved it. I remember thinking "oh no!" at the end so I'm glad there is a sequel even though his dad FREAKS me out.

  2. Yours is the first list I have seen with Stranger Things! This makes me so happy. Mothership was such a fun book! I have high hopes for Ilsa after not being able to get into Lola. Dying for Lair of Dreams. Game was awesome (even better than the first I thought) and so was Uncommon Criminals. Splinter is now on my TBR list, as is The Selection. Great picks! 1. I can't seem to sell Mothership in my library which makes me sad! I initially picked it up because the cover is hilarious, but I was surprised how much I loved the story itself. I second your feelings about Ilsa...I mostly want to see if Perkins will work in all of the other characters:) Thanks for stopping by!
